The hourglass with steps - Tristan

Some defend their love, adding precious fragrances over the tender and restless fire petal. Empty hopes. At this stage, the turmoil of life is an adversary and smothers the fire of the last embrace in the embers so that later the wind of parting mercilessly scatters the ashes of the last kiss.

Others who are wiser, look at the journey together and rejoice, not because they have completed it, but because they have experienced it intensely with a true hiking companion. For them, love fades away smoothly and transcends airily into a parallel universe from which other future loves get their sap. For them, the friendship, trust, and warmth in their hearts will remain, as well as a great capacity to give.

That sacred instant of understanding is the right moment to bring our hands together for one last touch and, with a smile on our faces, say goodbye and see you soon in another incarnation.
